10. In France, it’s illegal for women to wear pants
In 1799, a Paris law made it illegal for women to wear pants in public without special approval from the police. It was once amended in 1892 to allow women to sport trousers while riding horses and again in 1909 to permit the ladies to wear pants while on bicycles. And finally in 2013, the French government has revoked this 214-year-old law.
9. It is illegal to make funny faces at a dog in Oklahoma
In Oklahoma, you can be fined, arrested or jailed for making ugly faces at a dog.
8. In Saudi Arabia, Women not Allowed to Drive a Car
Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world where it is illegal for any woman to drive a car. Right now, it’s illegal for them to vote too, but King Abdullah declared that women will be able to vote and run in the 2015 local elections, as well as be appointed to the Consultative Assembly.

In Minnesota, USA, it is against the law to hang female and male underwear together on the same washing line.
6. Divorce is Illegal in Philippines and Vatican
You’re still not allowed to get a divorce in Philippines and Vatican. These are the only two countries in the world where divorce is illegal.
In Vatican, You are allowed a divorce even you wish for it. Philippine law, in general, does not provide for divorce for anyone living in the country. The only exception is with respect to Muslims, who are allowed to divorce in certain circumstances.
5. Being Overweight Is Illegal in Japan
Japan is the land that brought us ancient game sumo wrestling, but it is illegal to be fat there. According to the “metabo law”, every men and women aged 40 and over must not have a waist measuring over than 32 inches and 36 inches respectively. For individuals, there is no penalty or punishment in law. It’s aimed at putting pressure on local governments and companies.
4. Don’t pay unless full – Denmark
Denmark is a delightful country, but even more delightful when it comes to hospitality. In Danish restaurants, you don’t have to pay for your food unless, by your own opinion, you are ‘full’ at the end of your meal. If not, you can proceed without paying the bill at all.
There is another craziest law in Denmark, it is illegal to start your car without first checking to see if there are any children sleeping under a car .
3. Don’t die in parliament, it’s the law
It is just one of the craziest laws in Britain that has recently been removed from the rule book. The reason people are banned from dying in parliament is that the buildings count as a Royal Palace. Nigel Cawthorne, author of The Strange Laws of Old England, said: “Anyone who dies there is technically entitled to a state funeral. If they see you looking a bit sick they carry you out quickly.”

In Utah you can marry your cousin, but only if you are both over the age of 65. Because, you know, when you turn 65 you’re known to have impeccable judgment.

Have you ever thought chewing gum may land you in prison? Yes, It’s happen! Chewing gum is completely illegal in Singapore since 1992. There is a ban on importing chewing gum into Singapore. Under the rule, only nicotine gum is allowed, but even then someone can get it from a doctor with a prescription. No gum is allowed to be bought or sold inside Singapore and there is a $500 fine for spitting out gum on the streets.
